Guilt Facebook for the Dipping Educational Values in Ghana
The Primary Rights, Mrs. Georgina Theodora Woode has bemoaned the dropping requirements to train and learning in the country and linked the problem to clients’ habit to the world wide web and the indifferent mind-set to reading.
She stated this in a conversation read for her by Rights Avril Anim-Yeboah, Rights of the Court of Attraction at the second members and third matriculation of the Knutsford School Higher knowledge (KUC) in Accra on Weekend. It was on the theme: ‘Quality knowledge for the Modern day.’
92 learners finished while 200 freshmen were confessed.Among the graduands were Reporters who were granted the professional document in Interaction Technology.
Mrs. Woode said many learners choose browsing the world wide web and Facebook or myspace, instead of performing studies to improve the amount and learning to allow them give rise to the growth of the country.
“Students of today choose short cut to success and thereby and thereby practice evaluation malpractices, and at the end, complete with nothing to give rise to the growth of the nation” she pressured, including that was one reason why some learners after school depend on government for tasks instead of becoming self –employed.
Mrs. Woode advised parents to create the training and learning of their children a concern, and asked the university to generate graduate students with critical considering, creativeness and reflective-thinking, to matter in their chosen areas.
Prof. Paul Aryeetey, Vice Chancellor, School of Ghana recommended the school for its perspective and confident it of organization to allow it generate more graduate students for the economic system. He advised the learners not to be fooled by political figures, to affect the Dec selection but rather study hard to achieve their aim later on.
Prof. John Ampoah, Chief executive KUC said the school which started with 36 learners in Jan 2008, now has a population of 700. The purpose of the school is to generate
excellent graduate students for the job market, offer grants to amazing but desperate learners as well as free extensive authority and communication programs for journalists.
He became a huge hit to the GETFUND to expand its assistance to private institutions to allow them inform the years to come of the country.
